Roflcopter 2.0, now with more dead

Tucked inside a dresser drawer in my old bedroom at my parents’ house is my childhood pet’s dog collar. That is my keepsake, my quiet memorial to the 14 years of unconditional love my four-legged friend gave to me. Others eulogize their pets in different ways. Everyone’s mourning process is unique. Someone might spread her dog’s ashes over his favorite pee-spot. Or get a portrait tattoo. Or you could, you know, attach some RC helicopter parts to the splayed carcass of your cat, and give him the glorious gift of posthumous flight. And—of course—film it and put it on YouTube to achieve true immortality.

Via Buzzfeed — “Dutch Artist Bart Jansen turned the remains of the feline into a remote controlled helicopter. The device has been dubbed the Orvillecopter after the cat’s namesake American aviator Orville Wright.” Click for disturbing yet pleasantly professional photographs.
